Initial Visit / Initial Consultation / Treatment Plan / Diagnosis

At your first phone call, our office coordinator will answer all your questions and will schedule you accordingly whether you are interested in a simple dental exam, dental implants or improving your smile. Your initial visit at our clinic consists in a consultation where we will review your medical and dental history, as well as perform a general dental exam. Your treating dentist may request some x-rays to better diagnose your dental problems. We will then review with you all the findings and discuss different treatment options to create the best treatment plan that will help us achieve your desired results.

Cleaning

One of the initial steps before starting any dental treatment is a dental cleaning. Cleaning your teeth will remove dental plaque and calculus and stains from coffee or cigarette smoking. During this visit, we will go over the importance of brushing and flossing and give you recommendations on brushing techniques that suite your teeth. Cleaning your teeth will help you feel refreshed, motivate you for regular brushing and prepare your teeth for any future dental work.

Whether new cavities were diagnosed at your initial visit or old fillings need to be replaced, our Team will go over a detailed treatment plan regarding the timing of your dental work and the best material needed for your restoration. When severe decay is present, some teeth may require a root canal treatment which will be performed by our specialist in endodontics.
